Sempervivum
Sempervivum (sem-per-vee-vum) a succulent perennial, also knows as Hen and Chicks.
They get this 'poultry' name because the hen is the big plant in the middle, which then produces small chicks all around it. The chicks then become hens the next year, producing their own chicks. Thus, a slow-spreading bedding plant is born.
